335 coin types catalogued

Diocletian (AD 284 to 305) transformed the Roman Empire through the Tetrarchy, dividing rule among four co-emperors. His sweeping currency reform introduced the nummus (follis) and standardised denominations across the empire. He is unique among emperors for voluntarily abdicating. His coins from multiple Tetrarchic mints are plentiful and historically important.
